Antique Silver "Piano" Jewel Casket.

Description

Silver jewel casket/trinket box, in the form of a piano. The interior is lined with green silk and incorporates two sections, a ring box under the keyboard lid and a larger area for larger items under the main lid. Of good gauge silver, this is a well made, charming piece by a well known maker.

Birmingham. 1902. Henry Matthews.

Length 14cm.

Width (at keyboard end) 10.5cm.

Weight (without lining) 7 troy oz/217gms.
