Italian Rococo Style Marble Top Console Table C.1930.

Description

Impressive Italian Rococo style marble top console table c.1930. 65" long with a well figured rose marble top with serpentine edge on an exuberantly carved and pierced free standing giltwood base. With a riot of foliate carving around the apron , continued as floral garlands over the tops of the cabriole shaped legs at the front and rear. The legs themselves are joined with four shaped stretchers joined with a carved acanthus leaf spray. Excellent condition with original gilded finish.

Dimensions: width 65", depth 20", height 36".
