A Good and Very Versatile 14 Drawer Collectors Cabinet by Watkins and Doncaster.

Description

This excellent 14 drawer cabinet is in satin walnut and mahogany and was originally supplied by messrs watkins and doncaster of the strand, london.it was designed as an entomological cabinet but has a multitude of collecting possibilities.

The 14 drawers are all base lined with a layer of cork with papered finish. Each drawer has a single mahogany knob and the drawers run smoothly on hidden bearer runners. All the drawers have the original closely fitted drop in glazed frames to the top to protect the contents.

Original lock and key.

Height. 36.5 inches.

Width. 21.5 inches.

Front to back. 19.75 inches.

Drawers.

Width. 18 inches.

Front to back. 16 inches.

Overall depth. 2 inches. (imperial depth).

We are able to re-paper drawers to the highest professional standard, if requested.
