For sale this very rare London Brighton & South Coast Railway issue Engineers split seconds chronograph, pre 1948. Housed in a fully marked snap front and back opening silver case, the inner movement dust cover further marked London Brighton & South Coast Railway Engineers no 599 Dept. The case diameter is approx 51mm as as you would expect from such a tool watch is in used condition. Used to speed testing Locomotives over set distances. The watch is in original and unrestored condition but has just been fully serviced and is in good full working order. Oh so rare.
