A very fine flame mahogany Dachluhr Grande Sonnerie Viennese Regulator, circa 1845
The beautifully figured mahogany case inlaid throughout with boxwood stringing, the six light design dachluhr case with architectural top.

The one piece enameled dial with Roman numerals and signed to the dial centre with makers names, surrounded by a gilded engine turned cast brass bezel.
The fine quality eight day duration Grande Sonnerie triple train movement of the highest quality striking on two blued steel curled gongs, with deadbeat escapement and strike silent facility.

Polished brass cased weights , with ornate spoked pulleys, polished brass bob pendulum (front and back) with wooden rod.
Extremely finely fretted blued steel hands, of beetle and poker design
