Gents 1950s Roamer Hand Winding Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

A vintage 1950s gents Roamer wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 34.7 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 42.9 mm high including the lugs. The stainless steel case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition. The case back is stamped stainless steel, Roamer, Swiss made and waterproof although with any vintage watch I would not rely on it being waterproof.

The lens has the odd faint surface mark but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Roamer with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has its original hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

Price includes free worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
