Pair Antique English Sterling Silver Napkin Rings - 1889

Description

A wonderfully decorative pair of antique sterling silver napkin rings, each beautifully engraved with a shaped vacant cartouche to the front.

Both are struck with a clear hallmark for London 1889 and the makers mark for John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater; the highly sought-after Queen Victoria's head duty mark is also present.

The pair come complete with their original presentation box with it's velvet and silk lining.

Excellent condition, each ring measuring 1 1/2" in diameter x 1" thick, the box measuring 2 3/4" x 2 1/8" x 2".
