Late Victorian Walnut and Inlaid Davenport

Description

A small charming antique late Victorian Davenport in highly figured walnut with inlay decoration. It comprises a desk with lift lid with gallery top over a cupboard. The gallery top lifts to reveal compartments for pens etc and there is a writing surface to the desk lid. The top and door front is decorated with inlay. It comes with 2 working keys; 1 to the desk and 1 for the cupboard below. Dating from circa 1890.

Walnut/ Walnut Veneers

Condition Report:

It has an old split to the back which has been filled at some point and there is a small split to one side.

Depth: 18 inches

Height to Front: 27 inches

Height at Back: 29 inches

Height to Top of Gallery: 33 inches
