The box is mounted with exquisite reticulated and engraved brass decoration and a central hand-painted porcelain portrait.
The box opens to reveal a fully fitted interior. The inside has been professionally re-lined in a deep Burgundy velvet creating a fresh and stylish interior ready for use. There is a removable tray to the front with room below for further storage. tall. The quality is evident when you see the beautifully decorated hinges and the push button in the centre. This button is pushed to release the drawer below. Most of the drawer's interior is original with the original silk (minor wear).
A grand and impressive example measuring 12" x 8 3/4" x 6 3/4". Superb condition. Complete with working key.
