This is the classic calibre 267 17 jewel manual wind movement as used in British military watches and is highly reliable.
The silver dial has that starburst effect which is just incredible and changes with the light - it is completely original and has not been restored or refinished, probably the best example we have ever come across. It condition and it has gilt hands and baton markers. It has a heavy solid 18ct rose gold case, Omega rose gold crown and a genuine rose gold plated Omega buckle.
It has been professionally serviced and a new glass has been fitted. The case has been professionally polished so it is in exceptional condition.
It comes with a brand new premier grade genuine leather strap.
The case measures 35mm in diameter not including the crown.
As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
The serial number dates this watch to 1956.
It comes complete with a presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Omega are one of the most exclusive watchmakers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance that whispers class.
Overall this watch is in outstanding original condition and highly sought after by Omega collectors indeed it looks as if it was rarely worn.
The watch has been fully serviced by Alan Williams MBHI and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects. It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
