Very Fine Solid Silver Egg Cup. Fully Hallmarked Birmingham 1938.
This very fine silver egg cup is in very good condition throughout. With one small scratch on the outside there are no dings or dents. Full hallmarks that are clear and legible and also visible is the makers mark of Selfridges & Co Ltd.
What makes this egg cup quite unusual is the Viking banding detail on the rim of the cup. The underside of the cup is engraved with ‘Selfridges London’.
Standing at 5.8cm high and weighing 42g this lovely egg cup is in very good condition throughout.
This would make an excellent addition to your Silver collection or even as a unique Christmas present.
