Very Fine Solid Silver Cream Jug. London 1839

This fine Solid Silver cream jug is excellent condition. It’s baluster form and Gadroon border make this piece stunning to look at and baring in mind it’s age, it’s easy to see this piece has been very well cared for. The ‘C’ scroll handle and it’s 4 ornately cast feet add to the beautiful design of the jug.
 
The hallmarks of London 1839 are crisp and fully legible and the makers mark of E, E, J & W Barnard are also clear and crisp. The gilded interior is striking and hardly appears to be worn with only slight surface scratching.
 
Measuring approximately 10cm high and 13.5cm from handle to spout it weighs 153g.
 
This stunning Silver cream jug would make an excellent addition to any silver collection.
