Antique Inlaid Mahogany Serpentine Shaped Sideboard

1900 - 1920
Description

This piece is fabulous quality, with a superb shape & a great look. It could be used as a smallish sideboard or a substantial console side table. I would date it to around the 1910 & it's in good original condition, with a great colour. The wood is a combination of plain mahogany, flame mahogany & plenty of ebony inlays. It has serpentine shaped front & sides, cross banding around the top drawer & end cupboards, plus tapered spade end legs. There are locks on the drawer & cupboards, plus there are good quality original brass handles.

Depth - 22.5", 57 cm

Height - 34", 86 cm
