The two circular cigar caddies, hold six cigars each and in between is the match safe where matches would have been stored. The front of this vesta has a presentation banner, vacant and un-engraved. The figural finial of the lid is a classical figure of a lady holding up a ring or wreath of some kind, the figure washed in gold.

The drawer opens to reveal a fitted interior which at some point has been lined in navy blue velvet.
An impressive piece, especially once filled with cigars, in excellent condition dating to the Victorian era, around 1890. The footprint measuring 14 1/2" x 8".
