Very Fine Solid Silver Art Nouveau Hand Mirror. Fully Hallmarked Birmingham 1918
This beautiful Art Nouveau hand mirror is in good condition and ready to be adorned on a stylish dressing table. The makers mark of Thomas Bishton is fully legible and indeed the hallmarks are crisp and clear.
At approximately 28.5cm in length and 16cm at its widest, the back of the mirror has beautiful Art Nouveau embellishments which adds lovely texture to the silver. The mirror itself is relatively unscratched and throughout the whole piece, there is only light surface scratching evident and only a few dings/dents. The rim of the actual mirror is slightly tarnished but overall this item is in good condition.
It would make a lovely Christmas or Anniversary gift or if you collect hand mirrors, this would be an excellent addition.
