Description

A stunning Victorian Walnut jewellery box dating to the mid-19th century beautifully inlaid with Geometric Tunbridge Ware ; all wonderfully executed, refined and intricate. The front has an inlaid Mother of Pearl escutcheon and the top has a complimentary inlaid shell plaque.

The interior has been re-lined with an attractive hand-marbled paper creating a fresh and clean finish ready for use.

Complete with a tasselled key for display only as the lock is not working. Excellent condition, measuring 11 1/2" x 8 7/8" x 5 1/4" tall.
