Description

This rare and stunning Uk Bash has been opened up to show the complete piece as a wall decoration. Originally the sides and triangular base would have been sewn up and the pointed ends of the tent poles would have been placed inside this bag. This Uk Bash was made by the Yomud Turkmen during the early-mid 19th century and is a superb example of a now rare utilitarian trapping with fabulous vegetable colours on beautiful soft wool.

Size: 61cm x 64cm (2' 0" x 2' 1").
