Antique Edwardian Chippendale Revival Chair with Label

1900 - 1920
Description

An elegant antique Edwardian Chippendale revival chair in mahogany with furnishers label underneath “Wolff and Omeara Ltd”. With shaped and crisply carved back and attractive cabriole legs with carved knees and claw and ball feet. It has been newly recovered in a cream and brown brocade fabric in a modern leaf design. Dating from circa 1910.

Construction/Wood:

Mahogany

Condition Report:

Solid, wear and marks commensurate with age. Newly recovered over existing upholstery which is old but in fair condition. Old mends to the back splat and where the back meets the seat rail (see photos).

Width: 20 inches

Depth: 18.5 inches

Height to seat: 19 inches

Overall Height: 38 inches
