Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1940s.
It has a solid 18ct gold case and diamonds to the lugs very much in the Art Deco design, it is fitted to a beautiful integral brick link solid 9ct gold bracelet which is very fluid and glides around the wrist.
It is quite stunning with a new glass, the dial is in perfect unmarked condition. The case and bracelet professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
The case measures 16mm in diameter not including the crown and the actual watch face measures 12mm in diameter.
The calibre 213 17 jewel manual wind movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.
As you would expect from Omega the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case, the bracelet and case are fully hallmarked.
It comes complete with an Omega presentation box to keep your watch in perfect condition.
Omega are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
It fits a maximum wrist size of 7.25" but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller.
Originally it would have a black leather strap fitted but this has been replaced by a solid 9ct bracelet.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift for any lady.
The watch has just been fully overhauled, restored and serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Omega in all respects.
The watch movement comes with a 12 month warranty.
This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the respected Omega watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
