Large Georgian Brass Bound Gentleman’s Travelling Box

This is a good large Gentleman’s Necessaire or Deed Box dating from around 1820, the box is made in rosewood and beautifully bound with Brass and with brass carrying handles

The lid of the box has stationary compartments, it has many more compartments both on view and secret ones beneath.

The box is in good all round condition for a piece of this age, there is no key present , it is 22" x 14" deep and 8" high
