The set has good very sturdy oak frames, the top rails and the front stretcher are carved with exaggerated swirls and the front legs are decorated with more
The chairs have flat cane or bergere woven backs and seats, the cane work on one of the carver chairs and the seats of all the chairs has been renewed some time ago, the other chairs have their original cane more or less intact but obviously the colour is darker but this will even up given time

The chairs are in very sound condition with no loose joints, they are in very good condition for their age, there is a small break on the bergere work of one of the carver chairs
The chairs are 50” high at the back, 20” across the front and seats are 18” high. The carver chairs are 52” high at the back, 23” across and the seat height is 18”.
