The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.5 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Star Watch Case Co, Ludington, Mich, U.S.A. The case has good engine turned detail to the back with a central vacant cartouche.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.
The dial is enamel and it has a charming vintage appeal with Roman numerals, an outer minute track and original blued steel hands. There is a faint hairline crack between 4 & 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.
