Description

A top notch set of fish servers complete in their original silk and velvet lined presentation case.

The blade and fork tines are made from silver plate with the most exquisite engraved decoration. The handles are quite wonderful and tactile made from polished Antler horn. The ferrules and terminals are made from English solid / sterling silver hallmarked for Sheffield 1886 / 1887 together with the makers initials for the silversmith, William Yates.

The set was then retailed by the top notch Scottish retailer, "Hamilton & Inches, 88 Princes Street, Edinburgh".

Wonderful condition, the knife measuring 13 1/4" long; the fork, 10 1/2"; the box measuring 15 1/2" x 5 1/4".
