A really scarce find is this highly decorative bread basket by the creme de la creme of London silversmiths, Garrard & Co. of London.

The shaped rim has a fine beaded trim and the sides beautifully reticulated or pierced.

The underside is signed Garrard & Co., and dates to around 1900, late Victorian or Edwardian.

About as stylish as they get in superb condition. The rim measures 12 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 3 1/2" at tallest point.
