Exceptional Brass & Mother of Pearl 4ft 6 Bed Double

Description

An exceptional high quality all brass 4ft 6 (double bed) , having reed knobs and angled upright supports with rings turning in between. The head end having ring turned and scrolled decoration, the foot end having Mother of Peal inserts with reeded vases and a nautical spoked wheel as a centre piece. This stunning bed is raised on its original porcelain castors, in superb condition throughout. This bed comes complete with a wooden slatted base that will take a standard double (4ft6) mattress. English, Circa 1880
