The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the hinged case back for London (import mark), 1916. The case is in a good condition for its age; it has a small 'ding' on the bezel and some unevenness to the back but overall, it is very acceptable. The glass is in good condition.

The two tone dial has a good vintage look; the numbers would originally have been painted but most of this has come off over the years. There is a faint hairline crack running horizontally across the dial. Some of the infill is missing from the skeletal hands.
A later black leather strap has been fitted.
