Vintage 1920s Trenton- Record Pocket Watch

A vintage Trenton-Record pocket watch.

The pocket watch has a good quality stem-winding movement, signed Record Dreadnought Watch Factories, 7 Jewels, 3 Adjustments, Trenton which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The company was founded in 1903 and after merging with several other companies became the Record Dreadnought Watch Co in 1916 before reverting to its original name in 1949. The company was acquired by Longines in 1961 and closed in 1991.

The watch measures 50.4 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold plated is stamped Star, Dennison Watch Case Co, English Make, This case guaranteed to wear 10 years. The gold plated case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only light surface marking from use.

The white enamel dial is signed Trenton-Record with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
