Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The makers initials are also present for the top quality Goldsmiths and Silversmiths of London, the underside of the cup is also engraved with the full name and address of this well renowned London silversmith.

The hinged lid fits perfectly, a bayonet type, requiring a turn and lift action. The top has a very regal engraved monogram topped with a crown, obviously belonging originally to a very noble lady or gentleman.

Then we come to the glass, being beautifully copper wheel engraved with the prettiest design of ribbons and bows, hanging baskets and roses; quite exquisite.
Superb condition, measuring 5 1/4" tall; the base of the cup measuring 2 3/4" x 1 1/2".
