The frieze is beautifully inlaid with brass scrolls and flowers whilst below are four drawers interspersed with four 'dummy' drawers, all of which are "panelled" with brass inlay.
It is supported on a turned and carved central column, leading to the triform base, also brass-inlaid and terminating in good carved solid scrolled feet with castors below.
