Description

Impressive late 19th.c. oak bookcase with drawers c.1880. Unusual stepped front design affords two 8½” deep shelves (adjustable height) over a 14½” deep lower shelf plus four drawers in the base. Solid oak top, sides and front with carved detail, turned finials and feet. Very attractive pale or golden colour timber in excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Retaining the original brass drawer handles.
