The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover, on which is inscribed, 'remontoir, ligne droite, levées visibles, 15 rubis, ancre, qualité supérieure' which relates to the type of movement and number of jewels.
The watch measures 53mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is in good condition with just light surface marks.

The enamel dial is signed Lanco and has a winged wheels logo. Handsome blued steel hands, subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute marker track with 24 hour markers. There is a small chip at the centre of the dial.
