Vintage 1920s Swiss Gold Plated Pocket Watch

Description

A vintage 1920s Swiss gold plated pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped 7 jewels, Swiss made and numbered 516582.

The watch measures 50.5 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is stamped Philadelphia Watch Case Co. Victory, Warranted ten years. The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" to the back but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition.

The dial has a small nibble under the bezel at 6 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
