A Chippendale Style Mahogany Grandmother Clock of Small Size

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautifuly carved mahogany chippendale style grandmother clock with an exquisitely carved removable hood. It has a swan neck pediment with turned finials and free standinh reeded collums. The shaped door is flanked by quarter reeded collums which is such beautifuly veneered ending wih brick work to the corners of the base. The face has arched brass dial & silver chapter ring, the spring driven movement stalking on gongs on the quarter, half past & on the hour.

Dimensions - 4ft 10 1/2 inches height 7 inches depth 10 inches width
