Pair Antique Victorian Gothic Walnut Hall Chairs

Description

An impressive pair of antique Victorian gothic revival chairs in carved walnut. These delicate small chairs are in a Carolean design, they have carved cresting rails and barley twist side pilasters with central upholstered back panel. They stand on barley twist legs and stretchers and have a lower carved stretcher with original casters to front and back. They are upholstered in a leather look fabric – which appears to be the original rexine material. In good, original condition, these beautiful chairs are of a high quality, the walnut witch rich patina and the upholstery nicely aged and worn. A stunning pair of statement chairs.

Good original condition. Upholstery appears to be original rexine – some wear to corners. Solid frames. Beautiful rich patina to walnut. Wear and marks commensurate with age.
