Description

A vintage 1920s Vertex pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed with V.W in a box (Vertex Watch Co) 7 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.4 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is stamped Star, Dennison, English make, This case guaranteed to wear 10 years. The case has light surface marks from use but otherwise it is in nice condition. The inner dust cover has the name of a previous owner scratched on it lightly.

The watch lens is plastic and is in nice condition with only the odd faint mark.

The dial has faint hairline cracks but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
