Antique English Sterling Silver & Mother of Pearl Fruit Knife - 1832

Description

A fabulous and very early little fruit knife, William IV in era, with a full English hallmark to the silver for Birmingham 1832, nearly 200 years old. The makers initials are also present, I believe for Thomas Wilkes Barton.

The handle is mounted back and front with a piece of iridescent Mother of Pearl shell; the silver at the sides of the handle is beautifully decorated.

The knife comes complete with it's original gold embossed case, in remarkable condition, considering the age.

Excellent condition, measuring 3 1/4" in length while closed and 5 3/4" while opened.
