A good heavy Victorian iron strongbox by Hobbs and co. The box is of typical form with carrying handle, the lock is embossed Hobbs&co patent protectors 76 Cheapside London, and comes with key. The box is in very good condition but has been repainted black at some point and the interior lined with green base. The strongbox does have holes in the base to allow it to be bolted to the ground. C.1900.
