Description

A most magnificent box in pristine condition. This heavy box is made from a heavy gauge of sterling silver, I believe Austrian with two marks on the rim of the base.

The interior retains the original gilding and the lid fits firmly and perfectly. The box is decorated with gold over silver and white enamel lines. In addition, the box is decorated with top quality guilloche enamel in a pale blue showcasing an intricate decoration below. The centre of the lid has a white guilloche enamel roundel with a floral or snowflake design.

About as good as they get and in superb condition. 2" diameter.
