Description

A handsome Victorian desk box perfect for keeping all your desk-top accoutrement neat and tidy.

Made from nutty Cognac coloured Burr Walnut, the box is inlaid with exquisite Tunbridge or Marquetry inlay. The centre of the lid is inlaid with a diamond shaped Mother of Pearl cartouche with a complimentary escutcheon to the front. The lock is not operational but we have included a tasselled key for display purposes, completing the look.

The interior has been sympathetically re-lined in a hand-marbled paper, perfectly in keeping and creating a fresh, clean finish ready for use.

Excellent condition, measuring 9 3/4" x 7" x 2 3/4".
