Art Nouveau Cherrywood Bed C.1900.

1900 - 1920
Description

Beautiful cherrywood single bed c.1900 by the Hungarian makers Mahunka Imre of Budapest – one of the cities where the Art Nouveau style set down its strongest roots. Fabulous organic inspired Art Nouveau design with shaped and paneled head and foot boards decorated with carved flowerheads and heart motifs and leaf pattern inlays. Generous size, big enough to take a 4' x 6'3" mattress. Excellent condition cleaned and polished in our workshops.

Please note we also have a matching two door side cabinet.

Dimensions: width 54", length 80", height 57".
