Shaun King Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
It is beautifully shaped and well proportioned.

To add to the FOOT BATH'S historical interest, there is a paper label inside which refers to when the Footbath was stored in WWII. It is printed 'Save envelopes - Save paper - Help the War effort'.
There is minor grazing to the edges of the handles and an old thin, surface chip to the rim (please see photograph). The thinness of the chip can be seen on the rim in photograph 6. There is minor wear to paint. There are no other cracks, chips or restoration.
