Regency Rosewood Sofa Table C.1810.

19th century
Description

Exceptional early 19th.c. rosewood and brass inlaid sofa table c.1810. Top with two small hinged leaves on shaped loafers featuring matched rosewood veneers to the top with crossbanded edge inlaid with intricate leaf pattern brass work and stringing. With a single mahogany lined drawer flanked on each side with further brass work. Raised on tapered column above an inlaid plinth on sabre shaped legs with brass paw feet and castors. All the inlays are repeated on the rear meaning the table could stand in the centre of a room. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.

Dimensions: width 36" / 58½", depth 27", height 28½".
