A Handsome Victorian Silver Desk Inkwell.

A handsome Victorian silver inkwell, suited for a Lady or Gentleman's desk. This fine example sits on a hallmarked half fluted tray. the tray has four ball feet and a collar to hold the bottle. The ink bottle is of beautifully cut glass and has a removable silver lid, with an ink opening.

A delightful piece, both decorative and collectable.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits to the silver and no chips or cracks to the glass. There is a small triangle of fire stain (shadow)shown in second photo - this is in the original manufacture and not damage.

Hallmarks :- Each piece is marked with matching and readable hallmarks.
