Description

A good quality late 19th. century mahogany revolving bookcase with Sheraton style inlay. The figured mahogany top inlaid with inset satinwood banding between boxwood and ebony lines. The centre has a large Sheraton satinwood motif of fan design with green edging.The top frieze with alternate boxwood and mahogany inlay, the lower figured mahogany frieze outlined with boxwood line inlay. Standing on a wooden quatrefoil base with cast metal supports ( a sign of better quality) and the original iron and brown pottery casters. Sizes:- Width...19.25''...49cm. Depth...19.25''...49cm. Height...34.25''...87cm. Using all 4 sides this bookcase offers a book run of 7ft.6ins (2.29m). Depth of shelves 6'' (15.5cm). In very good condition, good colour and ready for use. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
