The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The jewelled movement is signed Thomas Russell & Son, Liverpool, 17 jewels adjusted to 3 positions, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.7 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The silver case has Birmingham hallmarks for 1927 with the case makers mark A.L.D. (Dennison Watch Case Co Ltd). The case has light surface marks from use and the odd small "ding" but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and has a small nibble to the outer edge at 10 o'clock and the odd faint surface mark from use but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Thomas Russell & Son Liverpool. The dial has faint hairline cracks between 7 & 8 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
