The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the back covers. Overall the case is in good condition with nice engine turned detail to the back and a cartouche with the engraved initials FSH. There are a couple of small 'dings' to the case but all very acceptable for an antique pocket watch.

The watch glass is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition. One of the hands is a later replacement as the shade of gold varies a little - the hands are initially set by way of the pin set mechanism.

The watch comes on a handsome silver watch chain; the longer chain measures 29cm long including the clasp and the T-bar. There are Victorian silver hallmarks on the clasp. The fob is a little later in date, hallmarked for 1912. The shield on one side of the fob has a rose gold wash.
