Antique French Carved Silver Gilt Upholstered Chair

1900 - 1920
Description

Very attractive antique silver gilt chair with intricate decorative carvings all over. I'm fairly sure this chair is French & I would say it dates to around the 1890-1910 period. The silver gilt is in original good condition. I obtained this from a London residence & it was covered in a very shabby old fabric, so I had it re-upholstered in some Swedish linen fabric. This chair has generous proportions & would grace many areas in the home.

Width - 23.2", 59 cm

Depth - 21.3", 54 cm

Height - 39", 99 cm

Seat height - 18", 46 cm
