The front with projecting pillars again with kingwood banded detail and beautifully cast ormolu mounts. Having a central rectangular panelled door in burr walnut with arabesque boxwood inlaid detail and a central oval wedge wood plaque depicting a Classical maiden. The door stamped by the maker "Gillow & Co", opens to reveal a velvet lined shelved interior. The bowed glazed ends with beautifully cast ormolu mouldings, veneered in burr walnut and banded in kingwood, opening to reveal velvet lined display areas. With pilaster ends again with beautifully cast ormolu mounts and supported on a burr walnut veneered plinth with kingwood banded detail and ormolu acanthus moulding. This credenza is stunning quality as you would expect from the leading manufacturers of this Period "Gillow & Co". English circa 1870
