Pair of Antique Swedish Satin Birch Armchairs

1900 - 1920
Description

Very stylish, elegant & comfortable pair of Swedish antique armchairs in satin birch, which are also top quality, with some nice shaping. I would say these armchairs date to around the 1900-1910 period & they are in great condition. The wood is very blond in colour & the figuring within the satin birch is stunning. They have just been recovered in a fairly neutral coloured fabric. You may have noticed that I get a lot of Swedish armchairs, but this particular model is becoming increasingly harder to find, unless you are prepared to pay over the top prices. These armchairs would mix well in traditional or modern settings.

Depth - 24.8", 63 cm

Height - 32.3", 82 cm

Seat height - 18", 46 cm
