This is an early Victorian fiddle pattern hallmarked sterling silver basting spoon. It was assayed in London in 1844/5 and made by Richard Britton.
 
It is monogrammed to the handle but is otherwise in good condition with wear associated with an item of it''s age.
 
It weighs 150g.
